Just stick Goodell in an elevator and A.P. with a switch. That will teach him a lesson.

I like it, throw in Ray Rice too. Last man standing.....

And Richard Sherman

Sounds nice, but the powers that be won't let him cause then they wouldn't be able to do all the crap they get away with...

Missing an opening of an NFL Stadium is like backing out of your child's wedding.
His backing out helps the NFL from being embarrassed when fans boo. Not a bad idea.

Goodell is a douche. If he can't take a plane flying banner asking him to be fired and the criticism that comes with being the commissioner than by all means he should go. You get paid big bucks for a reason Roger. Man The F up.

Yeah, well, sometimes a parent isn't welcome to said wedding example. Fk Goodell. Hearing the boos would have been rewarding, but next time he shows his face in any stadium, dude's gonna get booed loud as fk.

condi rice to the rescue i bet! wonder if the good old boys would allow it
thought there was a no-fly zone over Levi's during game time, or does that only apply to jetliners flying to & from SJC (i.e., those planes get rerouted)?

Yeah the no fly zone is in effect an hour before. The banner will fly over two hours prior.
If the face of the NFL can't show his face anymore then he really should go.
Don't know if already posted but Goodell might be gone soon...

Anheuser-Busch disappointed, concerned, dissatisfied with NFL-
A major NFL sponsor has had enough with the misbehavior of NFL players and the response of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and the owners he works for.

Anheuser-Busch, the beer maker that spends a fortune on NFL advertising and sponsorship, has released a strongly worded statement in response to the controversies that have unfolded over the last week regarding Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, Greg Hardy and Ray McDonald.

"We are disappointed and increasingly concerned by the recent incidents that have overshadowed this NFL season. We are not yet satisfied with the league's handling of behaviors that so clearly go against our own company culture and moral code. We have shared our concerns and expectations with the league," the statement said.

Previous statements from the NFL's corporate partners have generally shown confidence in the NFL's ability to get a handle on the events that have contributed to the ugliest week in NFL history. The statement from Anheuser-Busch shows no such confidence. If the NFL can't satisfy Anheuser-Busch, the NFL is at risk losing one of its most lucrative partners.

Which means Roger Goodell is at risk of losing his job. Make no mistake, the reason the NFL's owners are supportive of Goodell is that the NFL's owners have made a lot of money while Goodell has run the league. The day Goodell's mismanagement of this issue costs the owners money is the day Goodell loses the support of the owners. Goodell has already mismanaged the Rice case. He had better figure out the right way to handle the cases of Peterson, Hardy and McDonald.

If Goodell can't get the job done, the owners will find a commissioner who can.

In an attempt to right a wrong, NFL creates yet another controversy--

Roger Goodell attempted to atone for his latest mistakes on Monday morning. Facing calls for him to be fired over the gross mishandling of Ray Rice's attack on his then-fiancé, now-wife Janay Rice, the NFL commissioner announced in a letter to teams and staff members that four women will shape the league's new domestic violence and sexual assault policy. The group consists of a current NFL vice president and three new advisers who have decades of experience in the field.

Some criticized the move as a public relations stunt, a Band-Aid on a gaping wound. The NFL intended it to be a step in the right direction, an acknowledgment that the league needs to do a better job of addressing these issues and supporting survivors.

Instead, by selecting four white women to shape a policy for a league in which more than two-thirds of players are African-American men, Goodell has created the latest controversy.
By selecting only women, she and others have said, the league perpetuates the misconception that domestic violence is a women's issue. By selecting only white women, the panel lacks a first-person understanding of African-American culture. Rev. Jesse Jackson said on Tuesday night that the lack of diversity on the panel shows "shameful insensitivity" that "compounds the credibility crisis," according to the Associated Press.

Calling the absence of a black woman "insulting," Dr. Avis Jones-DeWeever said it shows the NFL is "completely just tone deaf on another level," and "does not recognize that there are cultural aspects to this."
