I knew he was going to be paid but he always struck me as mediocre at best
Here is the thread.

Will be curious to see final details of Andy Dalton's contract. Early word was more fully guaranteed than Kaepernick's $12.3M.
Kap > Dalton any day
LMAO...115 Million for a QB that turns into JTO in the playoffs.

Kap > Dalton

All damn day.

Looks like the Bengals are "All In."

During the draft I was hoping we'd draft him - MAN, I'm I glad we didn't.

Same here. I freely admit that I wanted Dalton and was a bit peeved at the Kaepernick pick at the time. I guess that's why I'm not an NFL scout! lol!

well i'm sure alot of Bungle fans LOL'd at our Kaep extension...
STILL won't buy him a soul...
Wow....just wow.
Way too much. Really!
Sure it may be a little too much, but if they really feel like he's their guy, is it really that awful?

Salary cap is going to increase, QB contracts are only going to get bigger. Dalton has a lot of room to improve. He threw 6 INT's in the redzone last year. If he fixes that small problem, he can go from a middle-of-the-pack QB to an above average one. And we don't even know the contract details yet
