I personally think dude is overated and I dont see what all the hype is about. Great, he can return punts, kicks and whatever else they overhype about him. Last I checked he was Crabtree's b***h, and Crabs is just mediocre, so says dick sherman.

I always thought he was a little overrated as well. Don't get me wrong, would love to have him on our squad... but yeah. I would take Sherman and Haden over him all day, everyday.

I think it may be interesting to come back here and review the comparisons of Sherman to Peterson after we've had about a half a season of the emphasis on defensive holding. Peterson is a LOT faster than Sherman and I have to believe the new rules will be easier for him to adapt to.

remember how we isolated Crabs vs Peterson in Alex's last full game for us against the cards? , Harbaugh created several one on one matchups on the outside with a 2 TE, 2 RB set with Crabs getting the better of Peterson the majority of the game ... that was a thing of beauty

He was being interviewed on the radio here, on Doug and Wolf and they asked him specifically which receiver he had the hardest time defending and he took a LOOONG pause before he finally stated Crabtree. At least he can admit it.
