Yup. It was pissing me off a week before we played them in January, ESPN and NFL network were building up the Packers/Rogers, trying to build up some Cinderella story with the "packers struggled all year, but Rogers returns just in time for the playoffs". They completely ignored us and was so glad when we beat them so I wouldn't have to listen to it anymore.
I agree here. I am glad Kap shoved his c*** so far down their throats they cried icicles in that actic blizzard. No sleeves on to intimidate them and commenced to beating that a** again!
And that was talked about. People always try to be quiet around me at work, and I can't blame them as Im the kind of Niners fan that lets you know he's a Niners fan, but i'd walk by and hear "And did you see how Kaepernick had no sleeves? He stole our home field advantage". The
common
knowledge being that Rodgers will not wear sleeves in 14 and beyond.

You have to credit Harbaugh with taking away the mystique of Lambeau field. Ever since he's come to SF, he's pretty much owned the Packers both home and away.
Now if we could just do that with Seattle.

We've owned SEA at home. We just need to break through against the 12th cheerleaders.

Now Rodgers saying his team has a more physical, intimidating presence than in the past. Don't give me that BS, they're still more a finesse offense. Guess he's talking about their D but I still don't buy it. Trying to convince himself GB is on the physicality level of Niners & Cawks cuz he knows they still have to get through either one to reach SB. We'll see how much more intimidating & physical they are come Sep 4th at the hardest road game in the league.

I'll believe it when I see it. This sounds just like last year when the Green Bay defensive staff spent all offseason studying the read-option and Clay Matthews running his mouth about how their defense was prepared for us.
.....We all know how that went.
Granted, at some point they're bound to get one in because when you're 0-4 vs. Kap there's nowhere to go but up.

True but unfortunately for them
IF they meet us they will have to do so in the playoffs where the stakes are the highest and where they are sure to get our best. They won't defeat us that time of the year. Maybe a regular season win one day but definitely not a playoff win

That was flipping funny man. The real funny part is that I was b1tch1ng about that for most of the game. God I hate Buck and Aikman. Ya think that game in Jan of 95 has something to do with that?
I honestly feel that Rodgers is a fantastic QB that carries his team. I can admit that if he was drafted by the Niners that we would be talking about the quest for 9 right now, but GB has no defense and Rodgers needs help that GB can't afford. The Niners have talent spread out all over the team and Kaep is still a pup.

The thing I love the most about beating the Packers the last 2 years is that we keep beating Aaron Rogers led Packers. Packers went 8-7-1, but more than half the year Rogers got hurt. They had no legitimate QB until he came back. He came back just in time for Kap to outplay him for a 3rd straight time. That is impressive.

Rodgers is an idiot for even mentioning it when his first game of 2014 is in Hag Central. A group like the SeaSensitives that never pays attention to what their opponent is saying would never let that become an issue.
That freak Sherman is probably posting that little statement all over the locker room as we speak and planning his post game rant 3 months early. Nice going Aaron, but bring it!

Actually, in some ways I agree with Aaron Rodgers. If you recall our last couple of games with the Packers, it took everything we had to beat the them. Remember, like the Seahawks, they won it all just a few years back with a very young and talented roster. There is no reason to believe that they couldn't do it again. They are a very dangerous team.
Also, they have been very unfortunate the past couple of years with injuries. Injuries tend to balance out over time. If they stay healthy, there is no reason to believe that they won't be a strong contender at years end.
I, for one, believe that the Packers have an excellent shot at helping us out at the beginning of the season by taking out the Seahawks at CLink. They are that good.

"Not much" separates the Packers from the 49ers...
Exactly... they don't have much in comparison to our roster. Albeit, Rodgers, Mathews and Nelson are elite players.

Matthews missed the PLAYOFF GAME because of a broken finger.
PWilly and Bowman played with broken fricken neck..*err*..hands.
