Last S Bowl

Seattle b***h-slapped Denver. The super high scoring offense led by guaranteed hall of Fame QB.

Seahawks's D [I really hate that team], especially the front 7 put so much pressure on Broncos that they folded like an accordion.

Would we have beaten Denver by such a large margin?

Would our scheme have perplexed Manning like they did?

Are we poised w/ better DLine rotation to do the same to our competition this season?
Wut
We would have beaten Denver by 50 points
AFC is so weak, it's not even the same league. Manning faced the weakest defenses all year long. Wasn't a surprise they broke records. Especially since they passed even when they are up by a few TD's.

This season, they face NFC west teams. I guarantee the team won't approach any records.

Let's please not talk about the last Super Bowl.....
Stats are for Losers. Gimmie wins over stats 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. 49ers gotta nail this draft and hope the 2013 Draft develops even more and I think we'll be fine. Get healthy Navarro and whole team stays healthy, we'll be right in the thick of things.

we don't have stats or wins doe
49ers are 3 players away from winning Super Bowl 49. a dominant 3rd WR, a physical cover CB and a Justin Smith clone. I wish balke woulda done a little bit more in FA getting proven help. I would hate for this team to be always so close but not seal the deal because they were too cheap.

Or the super bowl before that

Also I keep telling myself that with no Bowman and Iupati that we would have lost. I am probably wrong but it's the only thing getting me through the offseason

We aren't three players away from a SB, we have the talent on this team. We are three plays away from a SB. In a one and done playoff format sometimes all you need when you have championship level talent is a few breaks. Clearly those breaks have gone against us the last three years

Too cheap? You not familiar with the salary cap? Which Justin Smith clone did we fail to sign in free agency?

We absolutely would have beat Denver, although I don't think by that big a margin. Hate to say it, but Seattle pulled off one of the finest defensive performances I've seen in the SB. They suffocated Denver's record-setting offense with a physical secondary, deep pass rush rotation, and superior team speed. Manning was not confused. Seattle runs a very basic scheme. They just physically beat down everyone on the field, and Manning was under intense pressure.

You can throw on our secondary, I don't think you can say the same about Seattle's. We've been burned by breakdowns 2 years in a row. I think that factored into the secondary overhaul we've seen this off-season. Hopefully an infusion of new talent will upgrade the unit, and we add depth to the front 7 to keep the pass rush fresh.

who would you have signed,,, how would you have payed for it, what current niner players would you not have signed in order to sign the people who wanted to sign... if you follow this team you know they do not over pay for free agents. you act like this is the niner team of 2004 who locked up the water bottles... please provide proof of the niners being cheap. come on man. i get so sick of this old worn out crap

Ditto! We are LOADED with so much talent that most of our backups would be starters on other teams. We were one play away from beating the Seachickens...if that pass were six inches higher...TOUCHDOWN! and there is no looking back...but, the ball didn't bounce our way
