Moving it back would make it much more interesting instead of a given.

My guess is that the rule change would not change the ball placement for two point attempts.
But, I have nothing but a guess.
No, two point attempts would still be from the two. Logic being that there's a relatively low percentage of successful 2 point tries.
yes 2pt would still be from the 2.
just over 50% for 2pt conversions. i think if teams went for it more it would drop to mid 40's though. and if you can bring the PAT kick down to the low 90"s or high 80"s it makes the choice closer.

It would be kind of weird getting 1pt for a 43 yard extra point and 3pts for a 20 yard field goal.

That's the direction it appears we're headed, sadly.

They cant change it now. Itd screw up all the scoring records. Now position players would get 7 pts for every TD? Kickers would get 1 less pt for every TD? If you want to credit the player with 6 and just give the XP to nobody, I guess thats fine.
I like extra points. It gives the kicker some practice, and a chance to get out there. Id prefer he not be pacing all game and stepping onto the field for the first time when he needs to make a game winner.

would 2 pt conversions remain the same?
either way just leave it all alone imo.

Belichick makes a good point that the play is not competitive.

Until we get better as a redzone offense I don't want any changes to the extra point conversion. We have a hard enough time scoring as is from 20 below

So a two point conversion would be from the 25 yard line as well?
Since a two point conversion is worth double the points, it should still offer tougher odds than an extra point. Moving it to the 25 would make it nearly impossible odds.

NFL owners will vote on moving kickoffs to the 40 Posted by Michael David Smith on March 19, 2014, 5:42 PM EDT
Getty Images Three years after the NFL moved kickoffs from the 30-yard line to the 35, it may be time to move kickoffs five yards forward again.
The Competition Committee announced today that owners will vote at next week's league meeting on whether to move kickoffs again, this time to the 40-yard line.
According to the Competition Committee, this is a rule proposal designed to take player safety into consideration: Moving the kickoff will result in more touchbacks, fewer returns and therefore fewer collisions. The NFL in recent years has identified kickoffs as some of the most dangerous plays in the game of football.
The rule would also be viewed by many as a step toward de-emphasizing special teams. (Washington, which was terrible on special teams last year, was the team that proposed the rule change.) Eventually, if the NFL keeps moving kickoffs forward, it will make touchbacks so easy that it might as well just eliminate kickoffs entirely
