I posted to see thoughts. I agree with the cap needs to raised more than $1-$3 million a yr. But QBs are not UNDERPAID. But usual crap from LaCanfora

Took a glance at the comments and there are idiots out there agreeing with this fool. SMH. He compared the NFL salary to NBA, MLB basically saying that if Kobe makes 30 mill, then a Brady/Manning should make more. All the time leaving out tons of key facts, such as; football teams have 53 man rosters plus a practice squad, not to mention much larger coaching staffs, training staffs, front office, execs and so forth. Another thing to look at is you only get 8 games and if your LUCKY maybe two playoff games of revenue from games. With football you can have a mediocre QB and still win (Chiefs, Seahawks) or you can have a "stud" like Big Ben and go 8-8, miss the playoffs etc, the fans show up most of the time for the team itself and not a certain player. With baseball and even more so in the NBA one player can change the landscape of the league. If you moved Lebron to ANY TEAM in the NBA they would be contenders to win it all. If you move Manning to Philly and Foles to the Denver I think both teams post seasons would have been the same. The diffrence in the two QBs is that Manning earned his 20mill a year via his resume, while Foles is still building his.

This has been my exact sentiment for years now. Manning at $20 million didn't do jack vs SEA. I thought the super bowl just disproved this crap. Like you said you get a LeBron MJ Magic Shaq or Hakeem they can swing championships. One football player even Aaron Rodgers not so much

The one thing we can all say for sure now:
Unless it's for maybe the salary of a dishwasher, LaConfora is not underpaid.

Right on bro. In my opinion these QBs are overpaid with the current state of the cap number. LaConfora should have made his artical about the NFL needing to raise the cap and less about QBs being underpaid, because they are not. For every Manning/Brady how many Leaf/Harrington have we had. The past two Super Bowl proves that you can win the SB with an middle of the road QB.

He's saying they're underpaid compared to other sports. I don't see the big deal. Everyone knows the players got hosed in that new CBA deal too.
