Seeing the Giants fall and fall makes my day.

When David Baas left they thought they got a deal. They're in deep doo-doo. Yeah!

"Dilema"
So many 49erz N other playerz have left for tha money N never lived up to it really sad ...As a 49er i hate seeing our playerz leave for tha bigger buckz but when they bomb out itz veryfunny to me ...
In regards to Baas, I'd say getting a SB ring added up for him just fine, no matter what happened/happens in subsequent years.
I was mad at Baas guy did crap for us for years after spending the 33rd pick on him then finally does well at center for us one year and bolts for a huge pay day. That being said no way I would have paid him like 5 years 27.5 mil with 11.5 mil guaranteed. I wouldnt have given him half that so I can see why the 49ers let him go. They way overpaid so glad we let him go. It worked out Goodwin isnt great but he's done better than Baas for 3 years, 10.9 million and the last year he took a cut to 2.5 million instead of say 3.5 or so. So turned out more like 3 years, 10 million or a tad less.
This warms my heart as a New Yorker. I hate the Giants so so so much. Play in New Jersey for gods sake. Screw Coughlin too. Eli is highly overrated.

Baas wise, felt upset when he left via FA, but he has been a bust signing. Glad we didn't give in.

Luckiest team in the NFL. If you look back 3 of their 4 SB wins they shouldn't have been there or loss. Eli played well at the right time these past few years but I never thought they were the best team in the league by a long shot. 91 Craig's fumble plus Scott Norwood's miss (although 47 fairly long), 07 Tyree's catch, 11 Williams 2 fumbles or at least the 1st boneheaded one plus then in the SB welker's drop. Not saying they didnt earn it some what but things really went their way those games.

I don't like New York and Philly fans. They are so fickle. One play we love you youre the freakin greatest, next play you suck I hope you die. Yeah just about all the Giants fans were calling for Eli's and/or Coughlin's heads before they won those 2 sb's. Not sure why they were rewarded with those 2 sb's.

rooting for new york sports teams is like rooting for the house to win at a casino

"Haha, dealer busted you b***h."
Should of moved up for mankins. That cost us. Same when we let Duane brown go to the texans. Walsh always made sure to get the guy he wanted.

It seems we do now, but people like to criticize Baalke for doing so. I remember complaints about the Anthony Davis Pick, the Kaepernick Pick, and Eric Reid pick. There was always either someone better (Bryan Bulaga and Kenny Vacarro) or we didn't have to move up to get that player.

I also remember the criticism of trading the 2008 first round pick to get Joe Staley. At the time, we were supposed to have been better off drafting Tony Ugoh in the 2nd .

GREAT call Lifelong!!!

I loved it at the time because it got Kwame Harris out of the starting lineup. That alone made the trade a win for me. I figured Staley would be pretty good. Unfortunately we were terrible that next year and New England ended up getting a top 10 pick.

If we had a competent backup quarterback, I'd be ok with us making such a move to ensure we get a top tier receiver or corner (though it isn't absolutely necessary).
