I think the timing is wrong (they should have waited until the end of the season), but Kubiak has taken the Texans anywhere despite having a better team than many coaches have had. Perhaps believing that Matt Schaub has the IT factor was a mistake on his part, but Schaub didn't do anything really bad until this season.
