I remember that fool Kenny Vaccaro fooling everybody in New Orleans by telling them that he was Colin Kaepernick

Basically that's exactly what it means.

Been a loooooong time since I saw Brees contained like this.
38 attempts and all he could muster is a measly 147 yards.

This. All our best players were quality before this coaching staff got their hands on them. Gore, Crabtree, Davis, Boldin. These guys were always productive. All of our young developmental talent on offense has underachieved, often not even placed in positions where they can succeed or play to their strengths.
Now look at the defense. Quality positional coaches everywhere. Tomsula, Leavitt, Donnatell. There are numerous young defensive players who have grown rapidly under their direction.
You can't really name one guy who has developed on offense. I think even Kaepernick's development has been stunted by some of these goofy schemes they've run. It just doesn't seem to happen. The talent that was producing before, is producing now, with better QB play, Crabtree became a better threat, even with the OL I haven't seen much overall improvement.
People regret that the 49ers didn't add Doug Baldwin in 2011, but realistically, why should anyone expect that he'd be the same type of player with the 49ers? To me that's the biggest gap between Seattle and the 49ers, they have a good offensive system that spreads the field and creates a lot of mismatches with comparably little talent at WR. They seem to maximize the talent of their players. I don't see that from the 49ers coaching staff on the offensive side. On the defense its unmistakable, you see the improvement at DL, at LB, in the secondary, why there's such a void on offense, I do not know, but I do feel it starts with the incoherent, gimmick oriented playcalling.

Its that SEATTLE TRIANGLE! Gruden cracks me up. It's almost too much meathead at times. Seriously though the Seattle D has done a really good job reading the plays and reacting.

You come in white-knighting for Roman everytime, literally, go back to the Roman thread, you're all over it, deflecting the blame from the playcalling and you spend a lot of time posting in the Chiefs thread but yeah, you're right, the two aren't connected at all.

We are few but proud. You're lucky to be a lot closer to SF, I'm relegated to going to Buffalo and NY games haha.
