MSU to DGB: Don't look our way

If Dorial Green-Beckham wants to continue his college football career, he'll have to do it at somewhere other than Missouri State University.

Missouri State president Clif Smart said Friday that he, athletic director Kyle Moats and head football coach Terry Allen met earlier this week to discuss Green-Beckham, anticipating that the University of Missouri might indeed dismiss the star receiver after a series of off-the-field incidents.

They agreed, Smart said, that they would not expect Green-Beckham to join the Bears' football team.

"That's not the kind of player we recruit to our program," Smart said.

Green-Beckham does not yet meet the National Football League's age requirement to enter the NFL draft. Players must be out of high school for at least three years before becoming eligible.
