Are the Panthers legit?

At this point, their offense looks better than ours and that of the Chiefs. Better than us, a little worse than the Seahawks.

D is solid, Offense not so much. If cam plays like he did his rookie year they could be really scary

Yet, they must be doing something right, considering their point differential is 4th best in the NFL . . .

Its the D that makes them legit. If not for the 9ers D the last few years, would we have been legit?

Pats averaged 55.7 yards per possession. That's about 15 more yards per possession than the NFL leader.

I was impressed with Cam, but he's had many games like that. His problem has always been inconsistency.
Roman needs to learn from the Panthers. You have an athletic qb, you need to let him run. By defenders having to defend the run it opens up the passing game.

CK7 will be fine, he just needs to get his mojo back.
their front seven is awesome and Cam is a great QB despite a lot of the hate he gets. hes playing awesome lately and they are definitely gonna be fighting us for one of those wildcard spots or possibly catching the saints if they slip up a little bit

Yeup...they are legit. They're beating good teams. They're definitely better than us.

I'd say are legit because unlike us, they kept their win streak alive after playing a soft schedule.

We beat the rams, texans, cardinals, titans and jags before losing to the Panthers and now the Saints.

CAR beat the vikings, rams, buccaneers, falcons, and continued to beat the 9ers and patriots.

The question is will the Panthers lose both games against NO, split or win both games? Imagine if Carolina got the #2 seed and NO got the #5 seed. that would make the playoffs hilariously interesting.
Carolina is legit. A tough defense and a offense that can explode on any given play.

To our defense we only lost to Carolina by one with an anemic, sorry ass offense. Pretty much had the Saints game won if the Brooks play wasnt taken from us but again the offense was pure s**t. We can only get better from this point, can't wait to see what happens.
THEY HAD THE SEAHAWKS BEAT but fumbled on the Seattle side of the field WITH THE LEAD with 5 minutes left.

If they win that game, the would've beaten the Pats, the niners, and the Seahawks.

Rivera is doing his thing with the defense.

when.did they explode against us? on that TD-run???
their offense is good but ovr, as for now, the panthers are overrated.
Yes they are legit.

Big time D and a QB that can throw and make plays w/his legs.

Sound familiar?
SEA 0 3 3 6 12
CAR 0 7 0 0 7

Top Performers
Passing: R. Wilson (SEA) - 320 YDS, 1 TD
Rushing: D. Williams (CAR) - 17 CAR, 86 YDS
Receiving: D. Baldwin (SEA) - 7 REC, 91 YDS

The Panthers had a chance to move back in front, but safety Earl Thomas stripped DeAngelo Williams after a 16-yard scamper and Tony McDaniel recovered at the Seattle 8 with 5:25 left.
This was ignored as it was overshadowed by the golden midget Russell Wilson.
Carolina had the w in their hands but nobody took it seriously.
As for the numbers , that defense is on point.

Huh? In the game I saw, Carolina was scoreless in the 2nd half and lost the lead with 10 to go in the 4th. After the turnover, Seattle marched to the Carolina 22 and took a knee to burn the final 2 minutes. Maybe the Cats win if they don't fumble there, but a 2-3 point game with ~4 minutes to play is hardly a lock.

Legit good team, but not a contender. Their D is overrated, had been feasting on bad QBs. NE put up almost 400 yards, passed and ran very well, but killed themselves with a turnover at the goal line and that dumb personal foul penalty.

I'm curious what's overrated about their D. Their secondary is not very good but their defense as a whole is outstanding. It's not easy for any team to stop quarterbacks like Brady. The guy will take whatever you give him and he was dinking and dunking all over the place.

It will be interesting to see them play the saints because they clearly have more weapons offensively than any team they've faced this year but I disagree about their D being overrated.
