so either the Vikes have to eat it and pay some of it if a team with little cap room wants him or they have to trade him to one of the teams mentioned above that are willing to pay him but maybe not as good of a draft pick.

Now, that's something I could imagine - bringing Sopoaga back - considering the lack of depth on the D-line right now. D-line and receiver - those are the areas of need. And, I just don't see the Niners spending valuable draft picks on Gordon considering the fact that one more mistake and he's gone for an entire season.
