I know I am right, been betting on sports longer than most of you have been alive. To add more to this explanation when you see a minus figure like the Colts are -6000 that is the figure you must bet on the favorite to win $100. The only time you don't get your original bet returned is on a parlay card. Take for example it will say 3 games pay 6 for 1, not 6-1 or +600. On a $100 winning bet you will get a total of $600 on the 6 for 1, not $700 that a 6-1 or +600 would return. Reason for this as the lines are fixed on the parlay cards, so it gives the bettor an advantage if there is a big line swing.
