Melissa Jacobs @thefootballgirl
Alex Smith was beaten down for years and then molded into the ultimate game manager. You don't suddenly become a guy who takes chances

Half-time show out of balance with both Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin sharing the box. I like Marshal Faulk, when he says something thought is behind it. I think Mike Mayock does a good job, no nonsense.

They should be, but there's nowhere to throw. Blanket coverage a majority of the time and/or too much pressure to make any sort of attempt to throw to covered receivers without getting it picked.

They should if they had a remotely competent OL or receiving corps and anything resembling a running game, which they don't. Just horrible football being played out there by almost everyone. Outside of a few big plays, this game has alternated between being painful to watch and almost putting me to sleep.

Seattle is probably the best defense but the Chiefs are a pretty damn close second in my opinion. (Sorry Niner fans.)

You have to try really hard to screw up a Thursday night home game. Phili is giving it everything they got to accomplish it.

Why can't we have a underneath passing game like this for Kaep and Gore. And how about that combo of receivers blocking down field. Niners used to do that to perfection in the 80's and 90's. We need Andy Reid to put that s**t into Harbaugh's offense. Roman should go take a seminar from Reid.

Oscar @BetterRivals
The #49ers run the same play Mayock broke down. Both Crabtree and Boldin have score on that play design. Basically an underneath WR screen.
