News that the Hawks want him back doesn't sound good for our chances.

This.
No clue how Harper performed in the preseason. Hope he ends up being worth cutting somebody - it's pretty tough at this point other than a couple of the ST players.
Can Harper be part of ST?

Schefter said that Seattle signed him to their practice squad but SF offered to join their 53-man roster and he accepted. A couple of stories going on.

They're probably trying to convince him to stay by increasing his salary

Lockette chose to stay on the ps last year, it's a big decision though

We either get him, which would be fine, or Seattle has to cut someone to make room for him...which is obviously something they didn't want to do.

Another Big(ger) receiver. It'll be interesting to see if he ends up with us and what he can do if he does. I never have too much expectation for players cut by other teams, but you never know.....

I have no expectations for him, but a wr built like a running back could be interesting.

That means they never wanted Hawkins. Very disappointing.

The deep pockets of Paul Allen
Well well well. Look who's snapping up the scraps from Seattle's table. How appropriate.

Not to mention Mike Rob and countless others.
