IF the article is negative / anti-49ers, we see: "honestly, that writer sucks anyway. He is a hack, I don't care what his reaction is anyway."
Personally, I don't care about the predictions. Looks like on average they have the Seahawks 2-3 wins higher than the 49ers. No way is the gap that great. I think it's a coin-flip with regards to who wins the division.
I don't care about the authors and honestly I didn't even look to see who wrote it. I just care about the logic.

Good point, and even tho I formerly would have said fine, We'll just sneak up on them..Unnhh...unh. We won't be sneaking up on anybody. Instead we will have a big target on our backs all yr. B.S. from SEA, however, is b.s. They haven't won anything in how long? Not saying they aren't good , because we are. But 2nd game of the season up there is going to be eye gouging, tripping, holding, low blows, and all that krapt. I do hope we don't go up there like last yr and have Kap surprised that no one could hear him on the LOS. Coach has certainly taken care of that, as well as scoring from the 9 yd line with 2 mins and 1 T.O. to go. This yr we go up there with 2 super TEs, and Anquan.. I think Patton will have an exceptional game, and Baldwin will be getting balls too. The CBs may hold 2 guys, but they can't hold 5. And we will beat them. First things first....GB, who has a lot to get even for.

That is fine, to act like the Seahawks aren't a legitimate contender is laughable. We have been great the last two years, but the Seahawks are emerging. Both teams are built the same way so it shouldn't surprise anyone if either team gets to the Super Bowl.
End of the day, as good as we have been the last two years, we have just as many Super Bowls during that stretch as the Seahawks do.

It makes me feel like no one wants to play the NFC West.

I actually predicted SEA will win the West. But now think it could go either way. Yes they are dominant at home. BUT... their tougher games are all on the road. (Texans, Colt, Falcons, Giants) While we only have one tough non divisional game on the road (Saints) But at the same time the start of our season is brutal compared to theirs.
So, it can go either way. We have been lucky as far as injuries the past few years. We will need to be as lucky.

I feel like the Seahawks have flaws that will be exposed. Delayed blitzes are very effective at containing Wilson, and teams are starting to find that out. O-line is subpar. Defense is soft up the middle, you can run on them.

I don't really take any offense to articles like this anymore. Most "analyst" just want to go with the savy pick and make it seem like they know more about football than they actually do. I think the Rams are more of a threat to give us a run for the division but that's just my opinion.

I love it. Let everyone fawn over the Seahawks. The more praise they get in the offseason, the worse they look when they lose. (Last year's LA Lakers)
