of course this is the truth,, ran out of bounds every time after five yards,, and f**king worthless as tits on a boar in regards to the wide out. even with james out,, kendall and kyle will do kicks and maybe one of the kids who make the roster will do it so we are fine there,,,, punt returns he scared the f**k out of me anyway and we are fine there with kyle and cox, jesus with ginn,, we got one good year out of him,, we got our moneys worth.. sheesh

I remember his dad complaining about that.

last year, we only used him as a KR/PR. The year before that with Alex, we tried him at receiver often and he dropped passes.

but I personally hoped we had used him more with Kap late last year.

I remember he caught a 65 yard bomb from Nate Davis in preseason.

sorry but i am so tired of hearing that we never gave an opportunity to people like jenkins and ginn,,, it is not the coaches fault they suck or did suck with us. both of those bums had chances to step up last year when we had our injuries,, neither did and ginn lost his job to james you may recall. how about having a player take responsibility for their own poor play instead of saying,, boo hoo, we never gave him an opportunity,, i am sorry but that is hogwash
Do Niner fans really think they didn't give Ginn a chance? He was here for years. As a receiver, he simply didn't show up. He had some good special teams plays, but last year there was nothing special about his game. Hey, if he's got a chip on his shoulder and he's ready to make plays for the Panthers now, good for him. Let's see him gouge the Seahawks next week by bringing a couple to the house like he did for the Niners a couple years ago - then I'll be impressed.
He was the best return man the 49ers had in years. In 2011 if he didn't get injured we go to the Super Bowl.

I only care about two things (concerning Ginn)

1. He makes play after play in week one... major contribution to a Panthers win over the CAWK blockers!

2. He doesn't gain any yards... muffs punts/kick offs... fumbles the ball when we play them!!

Harbaugh is the type of coach that he will give you every opportunity to show what you got. It was up to him to perform and hold on to his job. If he was making plays for us he would've never been gone.

This^^
Harbaugh gave him every opportunity to show his skills. Even with a depleted WR corp, he still couldn't make it. If he truly had skills, he would still be on the team.

Saving it for another team or just enough to keep playing football.
Too little, too late.
