It would be great if he was bitter with Jerry Jones or something and ONLY talked about his 49ers days, thanked Nolan and the York's and then walked off the stage.

Deion mention all 800 of his teams, I don't see why Allen wouldn't at least mention the last team he played for.

Bob Hayes played his last season with the Niners after a career with the Cowboys. He didn't do much. Norton and Gogan were clearly the most successful ex-Cowboys on the Niners.

It's a love story of sorts. Great speech for a man who rarely talked on the field or in the press during his career.

I didn't think he'd mention the Niners. I'm still kind of pissed at him for just stepping aside and letting that Seahawk thug drive Alex Smith into the ground separating his shoulder. He was definitely good, but the Niners have a guard who is just as big and strong and faster as well in Iupati.

I am pretty sure that he only signed with the 49ers because Norv Turner was the offensive coordinator. The way he left after his 2nd season told me that he didn't have too much of a soft spot for us. He did good by Gore for the time he was here but let him be a Cowboy because he did a heck of a lot more for them

I don't mind that he didn't mention the 49ers. He only spent 2 years here, compared to 12 with the Cowboys. Plus, we accomplished nothing while he was here.

not the speech I listened to though the dude did say at the end he was sorry if he left anyone out . . . . and they had a 2sec clip of him running out in a 49ers uniform during the intro.
