Just reported that Broncos center Dan Koppen (formerly with Pats?) tore his ACL. Man, everyone tearing ACLs in training camp. Like seriously WTF??!!

ACL tears are common early on. Happens every year. Guys go at full speed after relaxing all offseason and pop goes the ACL.

Even with dislocation there is probably tears of ligaments.

Turk McBride of Bears done with torn Achilles tendon

Chicago Bears defensive lineman Turk McBride is the latest NFL player to go down with a season-ending injury. The 28-year-old was carted off the field with a ruptured Achilles tendon, the team's official website confirmed Monday.
