But, but, just 13 games ago, we had one of the worst OLs when we were getting sacked a lot.

I don't remember there being outrage. We got the two players that most wanted so everyone was happy with the players, but some panties were twisted over trading up to get Davis when conventional wisdom thought it wasn't necessary.
My personal opinion was that it was necessary. After watching Alex get blasted from poor RT play for two seasons, sacrificing a mid-rounder (can't remember what it was, 3rd?) to move up to secure that position was well worth it.

Hell yeah it was worth it! Our O-line has been neglected for YEARS...everyone knows the game is won in the trenches and we kept drafting all these other glamor positions. the one year we screwed up is when we drafted Balmer in the1st & Chilo in the 2nd...wasted draft choices

Stability on the line helps a lot, especially with pass blocking. We know they can run block well, but pass blocking was a problem even after they drafted Iupati and Anthony Davis. It took them a couple of years to improved and play with consistency as a line. It came together last year. And I think they will be even more dominate this year.
Remember Chilo in 2011... Last year was the only year in awhile that I ever remember, not 1 guy on the line that you can point to as the weak link.

We've come a long way - the wars are won in the trenches.
Also reassuring we've been developing OLine depth.

It is amazing how an OL improves when their is improvement at the qb positionl. CK7 makes all of the position groups better.
I posted that the drafting of LMJ and AJ Jenkins where in mind of CK7 being the starter. The team is being built around the long awaited franchise qb that every team covets. Thank you CK7 for improving all of the position groups.
I am now leaving for emotional therapy. They are trying to block the following from my mind.
Steve Stenstrom
Cody Pickett
Jessie the bachelor palmer
Tim Rattay
Ken Dorsey
Jim Drunkenmiller
Giovanni Carmazzi
Thank you CK7 for making the above a thing of the past.....
