One benefit he could bring is practice against the zone read in a scout qb role. Really this is the best place he could go. Somewhere where we can forget how bad he is.

He'll be replacing Gronk. But this does show how arrogant NE has gotten. They have failed in terms of trying to find value recently thinking they can turn around just about any player. Their head coach needs to empty the tank a little as he's gotten too full of himself in recent years.
