should of cut nnamdi

Actually, Nnamdi was supposedly teaching Cooper the ropes, taking him under his wing is what I read Cooper saying when he was on the Niners. They're both tall corners...Cooper did look good in the preseason, but that was against other teams' 3rd stringers. He's off to a good start but who knows how he'll turn out. There just wasn't a lot of room for him on our roster (unless we let Stupar or someone like that go). If Eric Wright has something left...with the way Brock is coming on...and it sounds like it won't be difficult to keep Cox next year...we get Culliver back and get some quality CBs in the draft...all of a sudden, we're looking at a position on this team that is upgraded and has depth.

he intercepted a pass vs titans against their 1st string--ripped the ball right away from the receiver
Yes, he used to play for the Niners, but now he's getting burned by the Raiders for a long TD today. So far, he's been the weakest link on that Chiefs defense.

Dude looks fantastic to me. Wish we still had him.
And we kept Nnamdi over him. Wow. SMFH.

considering it was his first "start" and the raiders WRs as a group are a lot better than people will ever admit I would say Cooper did very well.

Cooper got beat on the route but as correctly pointed out by the commentators it was Berry's fault Moore took it to the house.

Cooper came back and had a nice knockdown of a Pryor bomb and had the game saving interception all in all not a bad 1st NFL start at all.

The Chiefs had 10 sacks as a team and Pryor threw three picks... I'm not saying he's a bum but he's def benefiting from the scheme.

This. Remember when Carlos Rogers looked like an absolute stud CB behind that relentless 49ers pass rush in 2011..yeah. Cooper looks like he can be a good player but its too early to tell, people need to stop with the wrist cutting and jumping off of bridges.
Cooper is good. He was among the final cuts and would have made the team had the Niners not leaned in favor of Nnamdi's experience and prior success.

However, our next man, Tramaine Brock, is thriving! The secondary as a whole have been playing well as of late, albeit against crappy opponents. Still, good performances are what we want and all facets of the Niners are progressing nicely.

It's unfortunate that we missed out on Cooper, but it'll provide good karma going forward. After all, he went to the team who gave us two 2nd round picks for our backup QB.

What's done is done, so let's keep rolling!

He has been getting picked on weekly. QBs have started to expose him a little.
