Yeah his size was fine. All of his measurable were pretty good. His route running and concentration were poor. Patton could separate but was way too inconsistent. This is where late round WR's like Brown become elite.

Cut already, wow. Sometimes a guy just doesn't put it together at the next level despite his best efforts and Patton's one of those guys.
Too bad, he seemed like a likable guy. Remember the story about him immediately flying to SF after the draft and Harbaugh telling him he had to go back home (i.e. he was there too early, woulda been a league violation)? He had the drive/attitude, but apparently just didn't have the talent.

Looking back that was an example of his mental issues.

Can't follow directions.

Yeah, I couldn't stand the player. Poor fit outside for us and a bone head. That said, very likeable player who played hard and his teammates and coaches liked him. I wish him and his young family the best.

Spot on!

Bonehead for sure.

I also wish he and family the best.
I think were all overwhelmed at the sincere well wishes you have offered.

I am also so overwhelmed at the kind and thoughtful wishes toward somebody that doesn't even know we exist.

I still think he would make a very good return specialist. Dude has top end speed.

No doubt.

I think Kyle/Lynch have addressed that in FA - Goodwin.
