Great, I hope he is spending some time on his touch passes, and reading defenses! As for Patton, he has some bulking up to do if he wants to keep Richard Sherman from mugging him!

Of course that's his goal... whether he's good enough to win if from Wilhoite / FA / Draftee remains to be seen. It definitely bodes well from him to be there right now though.

I agree, and all also be pulling for Chuck Jacobs who was an UDFA last year and looked good late in the pre-season games. Not only will the 49ers draft more than one Wr, but I'm pretty sure they'd want to get some returners too for special teams and get those players who have speed and an attitude to take over Kaseem Osgood's special team spot. So look for the 49er to be getting at least another two or more UDFA WR's from this years rookie crop.

I'm not saying Quinton Patton is Jerry Rice, but Ricardo Lockette is nowhere in his league.

It is kind of funny that all 3 receivers that worked out with Kap are barely hanging on to a job but then you gotta remember who those 3 were. Ricardo Lockette, Chad Hall, and AJ f**king Jenkins :-(
