Yes. At least a month removed from play and time to recharge and reflect to come back a man possessed. Sometimes you have to have the game taken away from you to understand how much it means to you. Here is to Aldon coming back stronger and smarter!!

Mid-October would be optimistic. I say the Jags game across the pond Oct. 27 or after the bye week against CAR in SF Nov 10.

I thought he played ok. He was in the backfield for a tackle for a loss one time I believe. Still we are going to miss Aldon's rush big time.

I think it would be optimistic to think his off-field problems will cause him to accept less money. It might a tiny bit, but he'll surely be franchised if he doesn't sign a long-term deal. And that means the Niners wouldn't be able to argue that other teams wouldn't want him for the amount he prefers because those teams won't be able to negotiate with him.

I hope you're right, but I'm not holding my breath.

5th round rookie. He played very well. Was always in the mix around the QB. That is very good.

what was promising to me is that he made so many run plays... that's the test. he made run plays, and rushed the passer.

so impressed with him tonight him stepping in under the circumstances he was ready
