Nobody noticed the TD drops, that crucial fumble, the deep drops...
And Alex still threw for more TD's than Manning.
I counted 2 major drops, but I'm sure there were more. The deep pass down the middle, the TD to Bowe(?)... Final Score: 27-24 at bare minimum, but that deep ball or that fumble were both on pretty good drives, could have at least gotten field goals out of both of them.
The game wasn't as bad as the score would have anyone believe.
Was definitely a better game than ours.

LOL so the receivers dropping the ball is Alex's fault too.
Amazing.

It was here, too... I'd say there was something to that, but some of his passes were absolutely perfect, between two defenders.

mcgrath 21 yards
avery 20 yards
mccluster 18 yards
compare that to the niners who had 1 17 yard pass and 2 ten yard passes vs saints
the 3 chiefs scoring drives were all 80 yards and they had a drive from their own 8 to inside denver's 30 that was derailed when mcgrath's hold erased smith scramble inside the 30
pwned

Yep. Exposed pretenders. They were walking around last week like they were untouchable and shouting it to all that would listen. Now look at them. 2-14 to now 9-1. What a bunch of loser disgraces they are... can't even go undefeated!

Colts are a totally different team w/o Wayne. They have looked a lot worse.
Broncos are the best team in the AFC right now. Hands down.

Chiefs are a good team, but no one knows how good still... It would be really interesting to see what would happen if they get homefield though. It would be extremely tough to win at KC in the playoffs.

They certainly don't look elite, but they look like a legit playoff contender for the SB. More work on both offensive and defensive side, but they played a good game with some mistakes. They didn't go retard at any given point during the game against a very good offensive team in the Broncos that had been scoring 30-40 pts. Lets see how they do against the Chargers and the same Broncos at home.
I think the game against the Chargers will be telling. Good teams usually bounce back from a loss to get a win against equal competition. Chargers are no pushovers.

SD isn't a pushover but they don't really do much pushing either. SD wins if they don't turn it over.

With respect to Peyton having a clean jersey all night, I heard from dilfer that man coverage allows guys to get open faster than zone defense.
The rush legitimately was good but it's impossible to sack any qb who gets rid of the football consistently under two seconds without a lineman missing a block.
Just check tape from the Indy game and possibly this Sunday's game vs patriots where master Belichick will find ways to flummox his favorite QB.
So that might be a change in the rematch, coupled with the noise. Peytonicus is absolutely going to the ground at arrowhead.
I think the chiefs offense scores a bit more in a tight 23-20 type win.

cheifs hung around with denver enough to make me think they'll beat them in arrowhead. aside from that game they need, just dont falter against the others and they should be just fine in terms of winning the div. had they no showed in denver i wouldnt consider them divisional champ material.
