SF looked weird today. I think they're good, obviously, but they didn't get their running game going at all. They only had 90 yards at 2.4 a pop. They threw the ball around the yard on the Pack, but most of those yards were to two guys, Anquan Boldin and Vernon Davis (306 of Kaepernick's 412 yards). Boldin doesn't worry me so much because he's the type of guy our DBs excel at covering, but Davis could be a problem, and Kaepernick is legit.
On defense, they were okay. Good run defense, solid pressure, but their secondary is not good, though Eric Reid will be pretty good for them someday. I think they are good and should win the division with their softer schedule, but they seem really beatable to me this year, way more than last year.

Wow, the feeling is mutual.

"Wow Boldin looks amazing. So much for not being able to get separation lol"
"An important point for the people assuming Boldin would be putting up games like this for us. San Fran has a unique ability to force defenders to play zone to keep Kaep from taking off, which Boldin excels against."
"They are also in the pistol formation 80% of the time which forces a defense to have 8 in the box. Funny thing is that I haven't seen them run a single option play."
"There he goes again lol."
"u think the niners will take a 6th round pick for boldin?"
"Boldin is going to end up with 208 catches, 3300 yards and 16 TDs."

lol this.
We gave up yards to Aaron Rodgers. Not a big surprise there. It shocks me anytime he's held under 300 yards. We didn't allow him to go crazy, which is all you really can do.
I'd be more concerned about the team that only managed 12 points on one of the worst defenses in the league. Okay, so we only averaged 2.4 yards per carry. Their running game averaged 2.7 yards a pop, so wtf is this guy bragging about lol.

"Had our team -- the one who played Carolina today -- played the 49ers in San Francisco today, it's hard to say we would have beat you guys. That's what makes it so fun though. Nobody knows for sure. "
1 loss for an NFC team that I hate and don't want to face at their place in the playoffs (especially since we don't meet head-to-head... all losses are good)???
