I don't get hawks fans. Yeah, their team turned out to be damn impressive last season. They are good. But even our fans understand it is not always easy to repeat that type of play as we learned about our defense and lack of turnovers in 2012. Wilson bursted out his rookie year but will face more challenges his 2nd year. Kaep will face some challenges next year.
However, SEA plays a high risk defense. Sustaining this is not practical.
After 2011 they were saying how our defensive play was a "one off"/fluke and that we won't be able to repeat it in 2012. For some unknown reason this isn''t going to happen to their defence in 2013!
Also, they talk about how loaded our team is and how anyone could come in and perform with the talent around them - effectively discounting how good Kap is. But no one mentions the incredible support that Russel Wilson has, play action to one of the top running backs in the league, some very good O-line players and a few expensive receiving options. Not to factor in what was probably the best defence last season.
I'm not saying Wilson or the defence are/aren't going to repeat what they did last year, just pointing out the hyposcrisy of their arguements.
