Well, he does have "feet of clay" and he's going to a team with an O-line that gave up something like 57 sacks with QB's more mobile than him. And, now he's going to be in the NFC West with the Niners, Seahawks and Rams.... poor Palmer. He's going to get pummeled.

This. That o-line is HORRENDOUS, and even if they address it with their highest draft picks, it's probably not going to be much better. True, they may have better o-line coaching than with Russ Grimm as the line coach. Dude was a monster in his day, but he's a worthless coach.

They had Joey Porter in 2010.

True. Since 2000, they have drafted:

2002 rd 3 81 Arizona Cardinals Josh McCown QB Sam Houston State
2004 rd 7 202 Arizona Cardinals John Navarre QB Michigan
2006 rd 1 10 Arizona Cardinals Matt Leinart QB USC
2010 rd 5 155 Arizona Cardinals John Skelton QB Fordham
2012 rd 6 185 Arizona Cardinals Ryan Lindley QB San Diego State

Skelton is purely atrocious.
What's the over/under on how many games before he quits on them.

My call is 5. IF he doesn't get injured before that with the Cardinulls horrendous o-line.

NFC just got even tougher.
I'm not sure he's even better than Kolb or Skelton. If so, just a little, LOL. Poor raiders and cardinal fans

u serious marsh? try 4-12

Well they were 5-11 with literally no quarterback out there. Palmer is still good. This will improve them greatly

facepalm
Like them or not, this makes the cardinals better. They still are crap, but this indeed makes them better at QB than they were before.

Palmer is better than either guys. His problem the last two seasons was a lack of consistency. Yet he still threw 4000 yards last season. With Fitzgerald as long as the Cardinals can bring a half decent OL, Palmer can be dangerous.
NFL Network says Palmer has thrown 50 INTs in the last 3 years. He'll push the ball down field and rack up yards but it's hard to be successful with that amount of Int 's. lol
Palmer may get the Cards to a step beneath mediocrity.
