Does he start week 1 vs. GB? He's started last two weeks and played with 1st team...I guess my question is, how good is he really?

No one knows. My guess is Kyle Williams starts week 1. Third preseason game should really be revealing given how little we've seen of wrs with a capable qb.

I didn't expect much from him, thought he would be 6th WR at best. We had Crabs(Healthy), Boldin, Williams(Coming off ACL), Jenkins, and then drafted Patton. Plus Mario

Thought Jenkins and Patton would play and be good. Williams to be back, and a healthy Boldin and Crabs, didnt expect the achilles tear from Crabs.

Now he looks like at worst the 3rd WR. If he starts next week, he is a lock in my eyes.

Thing about that is who were the Dolphin QBs those 3 seasons. Henne, Matt Moore and rookie-starting Tannehill. All three would back up Kaepernick or worse. I rest my case.

Does it matter who the QB's were? Moore couldn't beat out the receivers on one of the worst teams in the NFL (or at least one of the most insignificant ones) to actually see the field.

Well if it doesn't matter who their quarterbacks were I guess it doesn't really matter who their receivers were either. Kaepernick is quickly becoming a top-tier QB in the NFL and will make Marlon Moore a better receiver than he ever was previously. If he becomes as good as say a Jordy Nelson that's good enough in my book.


Word. I will say this now, Marlon Moore is already a lock. Book it. If anyone doesn't agree let's have a sportsman bet on it.

I need to see more than one preseason catch from Marlon Moore to be too excited about him as a WR. Obviously he has impressed the coaches but these are the same guys that put Brett Swain, Chad Hall and Joe Hastings on the field during playoff games. We could stand to have better WR talent at times. All UDFA. Corners aren't exactly shaking in their boots

I think Roman will be up late at night creating complicated game plans for a WR by committee approach that will give DC fits trying not to figure out who lines up and how to align personnel to stop them. This should be interesting with our WRs TEs RBs and mobile QBs. Boldin will probably line up in slot aplenty at times. So many possibilities for a creative mind like Roman
