The 49ers are hooking up with the maker of the most efficient solar panels on earth when it comes to solar technology for the new stadium. I know previously they've worked with Jinko which is more or less a generic Chinese manufacturer so I'm glad they've upgraded. SunPower is based in Silicon Valley and apparently the new stadium will have a 400 kilowatt system which is enough output to run about 40-50 homes.
