It would suck if he was lost for a year, but they wouldn't be screwed.
I don't think his signing was a win now move, it was a do what it takes to aquire a very unique talent that doesn't come along very often at all.
The front office has done a remarkable job building this team. They have one of the youngest teams in the league, and only have a few key FA's that come up before Harvins contract would need to be restructured.
Namely Okung, Sherman, KJ Wright, and Earl Thomas. Browner and Tate also come up, but I don't think they'll re-sign either of them.
The only players that I think they would be "screwed" if they lost are RW, Earl Thomas, Bobby Wagner, and Zach Miller.
