Is Dashon Goldson the best FS in the NFL?

I think we find a way to F-tag him again next season. After that? Who knows. He's getting around 30 years of age, and I still don't love the idea of signing him to an 8 mil per year deal with lots of guaranteed cash. So, I would like us to try and tag him again while developing a stud that can hopefully step in for 2014 and beyond.

^ Yeah, Harper is a SS and is pretty limited in coverage. Not a very good S, to say the least.

Ok, didn't read FS part. So Dashon is easily a Top 5 FS. lol.

I say top 5, and definitely top 3 in the NFC..I hope we keep this guy, he deserves the money and we dont have anybody better on the team now.

I think Ed Reed is still the top dog but Eric Weddle and Antrel Rolle deserve to be in the conversations with Ed and Troy as well, probably Eric a little more than Rolle but the Giants are creative on how they use Rolle, even matching him one on one often with slot receivers and he's always there to make a play but I definately think Goldson is in the conversation as well.

I know this much, before the season I was indifferent on keeping Goldson, even after his career year last season, but now I would be upset if we are unable to keep him. Hes having another great year and seems to have improved his coverage skills. Thanks for humbling me and making me eat crow Mr. Goldson.
