Reid is an upgrade, and cheaper.

Reid is legit, hits like Goldson and looks to be terrific in coverage. Pray he gets back real soon, like next week. Anybody hear if it was a "mild" or severe concussion?

They said he was asymptomatic yesterday so that's good but he probably won't be cleared until Friday at the earliest.

Agreed, but we all knew that here...Goldson was NEVER slated to cover TE's or the bigger slot WR's like Boldin in the RZ (Whitner was ). Goldson timed all his hits for ESPN highlights. You can see the night and day difference Reid (FS) and Whitner (SS) in coverage immediately, once Reid was hurt. Wilson only had 142 passing yards but 1/2 of those yards were on Whitner (50 yard bomb on 3rd down and another 15+ yarder; probably more) and another was a 40 yarder on Nnamdi for P.I. Had we had ANY safety help over-the-top, that play may have been an incomplete pass. Also, once again, teams passed right down the middle of the field in the RZ and fortunately, Rice dropped both of those TD's. Reid was critical to this game. Who knows, had he been in, perhaps that 50 yarder turns into an INT like on his previous deep ball thrown his way...or maybe Wilson tucks it and never attempts to throw it.

He'll have to pass a series of concussion tests before he's even cleared to practice. As for Dashon Goldson LOL @Tampa Bay for completely overpaying a guy who can't even play the next game.

Tell that to the hundreds of retired NFL players who're suffering because of repeated concussions...

Boxers know what they're getting into. U don't see their potato asses trying to sue the boxing federation after they retire.
