Parys Haralson

Yup. He was a run stuffer.

I'm not sure that Haralson was so great, as much as it was nice to have a vet and a fresh rotation for both Aldon and Haralson. I've notice that teams are running right at the Smith, wearing down and stoping the pass rush.

He wasn't great, but he was a solid player.

A rotation of quality 3-4 OLBs is needed, yeah.

We're getting man handled in the A gap up the gut not on the edges. Haralason most likely would have whiffed on the tackle against jax where aldon made a great play. A year and half into his career aldon may already have as many sacks as he had his entire career.
Average against the run decent rotation player.
So since the Saints didnt cut him & he pretty much made the team we got a 7th round pick 4sure right?

I believe so. From what I understood, if he made the 53 we get a 7th.
9/8/13 v Atlanta Tackles Assists Solo Sacks

Mods can we move this to NFL Talk?

Saints seem to have gotten a great deal for a 7th but we have done plenty of r'ing to teams on trades lately. Too bad there wasn't a chance to get a higher pick based on incentives. That being said we are getting younger and moving on.
