Ahmad Brooks today was so versitle. He played inside on Goaline defense. I remember him at Virginia he was an all around LB playing inside and outside. This dude played outstanding vs Carolina. He took the Falcons game off but since then has been a terror all season.

Brooks is a better all around LB than Aldon.

And Brooks hasn't? He was pretty much invisible after the N.O. game up through the end of the regular season. Glad he's stepped and been so dominant and clutch in the playoffs.

100% correct, but Brooks was a scrub in year three of his career. He completely turned his career around the past couple of years. Our LB group is great!

100% correct, but Brooks was a scrub in year three of his career. He completely turned his career around the past couple of years. Our LB group is great!

This. Don't forget the holding/bear hugging. How are people not seeing this? The thing is, the better Brooks does, and if Fangio does some things to get Willis and Bowman in on the sack party, it will force offenses stop the consistent double teaming of Aldon.

that's the thing.
aldon is getting chipped and doubled and still almost getting to the qb. he arrives just after brooks and co do.
and his edge setting is excellent. he's a complete olb

It's a two sided coin. Aldon isnt actually doubled as much as people think because they usually double Justin. Aldon gets chipped every play for sure, and gets doubled occasionally. But its a stretch to say hes always doubled
