Really glad for him, he deserves a chance with a quality playoff team. Still a very good 3–4 OLB, Clay Matthews should be pretty stoked about that.

There probably is a matrix with FAs in 2018 and their costs. I'm thinking his salary got in the way of 2018. Crappy way to end his SF time.
