Baalke made a good point in his post draft discussion and it was this: When you're at 30 and you really like a guy what's the difference if you get him at 30 or at 34? If you trade out you can never guarantee the guy you really like will be there at 34 because another team might like him just as much if not more. And with all the trading of picks going on, I think he makes a valid point.
Also we dont have room for more picks. As it is most of the inactive players and practice squad players will be rookies. We'll probably be even cut a few of them..

If it is any consolation, the draft experts (no disrespect out there to MD or OTC) are often wrong when it comes to rating WRs.

Anquan Boldin was picked in the second round. Mike Wallace was drafted in the third round, as was Terrell Owens. Victor Cruz and Wes Welker are two of the most productive wideouts in the NFL and both went undrafted. Enough said...

moving to 34 we could of maybe gotten a 4th.....couple that with our existing 4th and we could move up into the 3rd for instance

WOW... liked him better than Floyd?? I thought Floyd was the best WR in the draft. I am SO glad that they got their guy... not sure that trading down would have still been able to get him.
