For those who didn't see, they showed the NFL average for ypg, both now and in 1984, Brees is further above the average now than Dan was then, and the average isn't really that different.

both the giants and the lions (who face each other) are built to beat the packers with good strong pass rush and d lines and capable passing attacks and offense
the first game on thanksgiving i remember rogers only had 80 something yards in 1st half before suh got kicked out
and the giants game was extremelly close
