I think the reason teams can blitz the 49ers all crazy like is because of the formations they line up in with only 2 receivers. San Diego for the most part is spreading the offense apart and thus keeping the defense honest.

How much you want to bet that even if the 49ers beat the Steelers, they'll still be ranked lower than the Ravens in all power rankings, even after this debacle?

Chargers are one of those teams that can give anyone an ass whipping but just can't win it all

LOL, Flacco just got owned again. "Franchise quarterback." Chargers might put up 50 tonight the way they're playing.

it has been known for a while now dating all the way back to when the raiders with rich gannon spread the steelers out and attacked back when the steelers defense seemed unstoppable. later the patriots took the same approuch with brady doing the same thing against these 3-4 blitzing defenses. i really don't know why we couldn't spread them out while still having vernon and walker on the field. having both line up as slot recievers and we'd have a mismatch if we ran the ball (with our te's blocking dbs or our te's running pas their lbs.

If Alex Smith and Flacco switched places, Alex would have a 100+ QB rating and Flacco would have under 70 and probably be on injured reserve.

Why are you guys implying that the Steelers would play harder tomorrow? Where they just expecting to be a wildcard if the Ravens won tonight?
F**** them. Bring it.
