Ray Lewis out 1-4 games

Out this Sunday and on Thursday with that game vs. 49ers.

Ray Lewis not practicing today due to toe injury expected to sideline him Sunday and likely additional games. Highest amount of games I'm hearing Ray Lewis would miss is four, lowest is one to two games.

Scared of Frank Gore
Scared of Patrick Willis outshining him.
Citing Lewis' toughness, Ravens coach John Harbaugh refused to rule out the two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year against the Bengals.

"We'll find out on Sunday, really. Ray has had shoulders dislocated and he's done 35 push-ups on the sidelines to prove that he can go. He's had hamstrings that have torn off the bone because he went ahead when he should have been gone."

The end is nigh for this legend.
that's wack, and kills a lot of storylines for the game.

It's gonna sweet if Patrick Willis produces his best game of the season in the house that Ray Lewis built!
It's crazy just how well he's playing after his 16 years. I really hope he plays against us.
I could hear it now, "The 49ers beat a Baltimore Ravens team playing without Ray Lewis."

Yup, thats why i was glad Nicks played last week cause they would have said the same thing...."Niners beat the Giants...BUT REMEMBER they didn't have Nicks playing."

our defense is so good its starting to hurt players on other defenses
should've been a Niner in '96...

1995 - To get JJ Stokes with the #10 pick, Niners trade up with then Cleveland Browns (via Atlanta) in exchange for the 49ers 1996 1st round pick. (John Taylor was on the verge of retiring, and the Niners wanted a "stud" wideout to groom in JT's last year).

1996 - After already selecting Jonathan Ogden with their own 1st round pick, the newly renamed Baltimore Ravens (moved from Cleveland after '95) use a second 1st round pick obtained from the Niners the year before (#26 overall) to select RAY LEWIS out of Miami. The only standout player the Niners would draft in '96? Terrell Owens, another WR....so basically the Stokes deal turned out bad for the Niners, great for the Ravens.

Carmen Policy and Dwight Clark, you both deserve a
