Ginn is a better PR than Jackson. Jackson is a better receiver, but honestly is overrated as a WR. He's not a tough player or a good blocker and he has a s**tty attitude.
I wouldn't be against signing him, but I'd rather have Ginn back.

seriously, for all the s**t Crabtree gets, could you imagine how people on here would react to Jackson?

Signing DeSean now is the only way to repent for choosing Balmer and Chilo over him.

Jackson isn't worth the money he wants. Not in Philly, not anywhere. He's a mid-level WR. Not great but better than average. I'd take Braylon, Crabs and Morgan over any combo with Jackson. Not that Morgan is better than Jackson but for what we do he is. Plus Morgan could step in and replace either if one were hurt. Where as with DJax we'd have to change some of what we do if he were to step in. IMO

I cant believe people would be against signing him. He'd instantly be the best WR we've had since TO left. He's having a down year but the only players in Philly that arent are Babin and McCoy.
He'd give this offense the missing element to become dynamic.

Grab him in a heartbeat.
But WHY get rid of Edwards - the jury is still out on him [IMO] and we'll have to see how the rest of the seaon plays out.
If he [Edwards] performs to expectations we could field an excellent receiving team. And we could have a rotation that would be a safety valve for an injured WR.

Don't want, really... Like many have said - bad attitude, average hands.. pretty much a one dimensional WR.

He's going to be a UFA. He played good enough to get a new deal and the eagles shunned him. They gave vick a contract and will giive McCoy a new deal after this season. There's no way he stays with the team and I don't think they want him now that maclin has showed he fan be a #1 WR. I would love to see him on this team, ginn gets down field but can't catch the passes. Desean would stretch the field and draw two defenders way downfield.

He wouldnt fit in here... he wouldnt mesh with Alex's style of ball. Not saying Alex cant throw the deep ball but he is a mid range thrower. The way he played the game against the giants with 15-20-25 yard throws is where I think Alex is most comfortable.
Desean is a 30+ yard receiver and would mesh better with Kaepernick.
I'm thinking he would work out well in Oakland, AZ, Carolina, etc

The few spectacular plays he makes are not worth the attitude he brings. The chemistry is SO good on this team right now that I would not want to see them risk it with a problem player like Jackson.

I would be pissed too if they made it a priority to pay Vick 100 Mil and never even sniffed a contract talk with me. He was a pro bowler and a definite reason for their success. If they would have started the discussion and assured him he is getting paid, none of this happens. He is acting like a kid though.
