I'm getting an Andy Lee Jersey! Trying to convince my brother to buy an Akers Jersey but he's not impressed with the idea of us sporting #2 and #4 Jerseys at the game. I think its great! Loving me some #4!!!

Lechler and Leeshould get together for a bay area charity punt-off or something. It would be like those old Bird vs Jordan McDonalds commercials.

Andy Lee has set a new NFL record for Net average on punts with an average of 44.1 Net yards. Kudos to 49er ST crew.

Back in 07.... anyone else remember? (thanks for lowballing him steelers)
"Lee will stay with the San Francisco 49ers, who matched the Pittsburgh Steelers' contract offer to the restricted free agent on Thursday. Lee, who played in college at Pitt, agreed to a six-year contract worth more than $7 million with the Steelers on Monday. The 49ers quickly matched the deal for Lee, who has spent each of his three pro seasons with San Francisco."
Anyways, Lee is a free agent after the following season (2012 season) but might be a good idea to lock him down with a contract before next year starts. 60.3 average today.. insane in the membrane

I have been completely avoiding work for the last few days totally obsessed with any and all news articles pertaining to the Niners, as I am sure many of you have been as well.
One trend I keep seeing in message boards is people bragging about how great Andy Lee is.
He is great. He has been more than Great this season, and has been a huge contributor to the field position battle and helping the Niners win.
That being said, it is embarassing as hell to see Niner fans getting in debates about how great our effin punter is. I know I am probably gonna get beat up for this because I am sure a lot of the people I am reading on espn.com and the like are in this forum also, but please stop and think about the rest of us.
Brag about the Smiths, Gore, Vernon, Crabtree, Rogers, Goldson, and maybe a guy named Patrick Willis.
Stop with the Andy Lee arguments.
