but really, he's a force. They have to figure out how to win games, but I would love knowing he was going to be on my team for the next 10 years.
The team is a looser ......they picked first for a reason......
Cam is making rookie mistakes that hurt his team......but the play calling in the red zone was terrible. He drove them to the 3 yard line twice in the 4th....they threw the ball 6 times for a three and out and a 4 and out.
Cam is looking to shatter some rookie records.

Doomed perhaps by Newton's 3 INTs the Panthers fall to Green Bay by a final score of 30-23. Despite the turnovers Newton did once again pile on the yardage throwing for 432 yards and a touchdown while leading the team in rushing with 53 yards and another score on the ground.
Week 1 @ ARI 24/37, 422 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT
Week 2 vs. GB 28/46, 432 yds, 1 TD, 3 INTS
Season: 63%, 854 yds, 3 TDs passing
18 rushes, 71 yards 2 TDs rushing
The Train rolls on in Week 3 as the Panthers will host the Jaguars.

The Auburn offense didn't really put the ball up so much..they threw it, but Cam and Michael Dyer running was the bulk of the offense. And the down the field throws definitely weren't a large part of Auburns approach. Good on Carolina's offensive coordinator for realizing his guy can do this, and then letting the rookie go ahead and do it instead of protecting him, it's a gamble, but performance-wise at least, it's one that's paying off.

400 yards again, but only 1 TD and 3 picks. Also two losses
I don't give a damn how many yards you throw for if you can't get it done when it counts.
The kid has potential, but I am not on this train.

Eating some major crow, I thought he was way too raw to be named the starter week 1. He looks way more advanced than alex did his rookie year and this is coming off a 4 month lockout.

Cam Newton's 422 yards passing in Week 1 is greater than our TOTAL NET yards after 2 weeks (415) !!!!!!!
Now that is crazy and sad.
