For the record, I don't want to trade for Briggs, but using preseason performance to justify choosing them over him doesn't hold much weight.

I am sorry but there is no way i would go after Briggs, we have very good young speedy talent at LB. Dont need a guy who isnt really a team player to come in and mess that up. Hes good but not that good.
Bowman will have a great year as will Brooks... Patrick Willis even went on record on Sirius Sat. Radio and said that Bowman is more athletic than him and to watch out for this guy. I am sticking with Bowman.

Can't blame him. His contract was front loaded. What did the Bears actually expect to happen? I hope he signs a 10 year extension with 30 million guaranteed & a no trade claus with the bears.
