Niether... lol Okay McCown he has taking less hits then david, so less likely he will get injured. And that's good cause colin is not going to see the field for 3 or 4 years. And if we tank with McCown, we will upgrade with a shot at luck. But something tells me alex might have just found the right guy to turn his life around!

if u think about it Carr didnt get a whole lot to show last season.. looked horrible in the second half vs Carolina but how many reps did he really get with the 1st team last season before he was thrown in?? looked solid today and the last time he was with the big blue

Came in to post the same thing. Its funny he has basically had the exact same career as ALex, yet he wasnt given a shot with us. Yes he looked like s*** in Carolina, but I bet you the amount of reps he got with the 1st team was minimal. He looked good today.

No he got no shot at all last year, I bet if he had a whole week to prepare for a game, he would have been our best qb the rest of the season. Singletary sucked though..

Ummmmm, the reason Carr got no real shot anywhere he went is that his work ethic was notoriously absent when he was in Carolina. They blew the 1st pick on him, and he was the first guy out of the locker room most of the time. I believe in second chances, but GMs probably don't, especially when QBs are supposed to live the game. Alex keeps getting chances because he has potential (like Carr) and he has worked his ass off since day one (NOT like Carr). Braylon even said' "Alex lives in the building, so if I am gonna hang out with him, I guess I'll live in the building too." (not an exact quote, but pretty dang close). I'm sure being a shell-shocked mess that holds onto the ball about 3 seconds too long doesn't help.
