Why did they trade him exactly?

Bills front office realize they are rebuilding.

In the last two years they have let Peters, Edwards, Lynch, Poslunsky (SP?), T.O. leave via trade / cut / free agency.

in the grand tradition of the Buffalo Bills, rebuilding means letting all of your good players go and building around whatever is left over.

They prefer to lose by a greater margin? Trying to secure #1 overall pick to get Luck? This trade makes no sense to me.
Good move. After watching the Ravens last night they needed to make this trade.
I wish we could have tried to get them to take Taylor Mays and a later pick. Maybe we did and they declined, though.

Truer words have never been said. They looked like us, back when arnez was our #1.

Ravens should trade for him

Good call.
Boldin and Evans are gonna be a great combo. Throw in Torrey Smith and Tandon Doss and thats a good group.

now if alex smith east (flacco) can feed them the ball they should be ok.

On NFLN they said it was a 4th round pick.

Seems like a good deal for the Ravens. But who knows. Baltimore and Seattle both seem like places good WRs go to die....

Idk they just seemed a little shaky at WR, and are going to need all they can get to compete against the steelers

from what I've been reading the past day Bills did it because Evans wasn't the team's #1 anymore and they didn't want to pay his 3.3 million salary. Plus let's be honest it's not like the Bills lost a elite guy, http://www.nfl.com/player/leeevans/2506097/careerstats
