Quote:
Per FOX Sports' Adam Caplan, Albert Haynesworth forfeited his guaranteed 2011 salary ($5.4 million) by skipping 2010 minicamps with the Redskins.
Thus, the Pats can release Haynesworth quickly if he becomes a problem and be on the hook for zero monetary commitment. It's still not a "no-risk" deal; New England did surrender a future fifth-round pick while gambling Haynesworth will be a good soldier in their 3-4 defense, something he refused to be under Mike Shanahan. The Patriots play 50 percent nickel alignments, and we suspect that's where they're hoping Haynesworth helps the most
Ol' Bill is still #WINNING.

I love how everyone b***hes about the Patriot's and all the awesome moves they make when thats all the 49ers did for oh, about 20 years or so.
I think the whiners are just bitter. I, on the other hand, admire the Pats. So what if they cheated? Proves they're trying!

It's ok, he balances it by being a Timberwolves fan.

No, it's because this team is owned and run by f**king morons, while the Patriots are owned and run by f**king geniuses.

pretty good move by the Pats. and Lol at the Redskins.
as for people complaining that we don't make these kinds of moves: the Pats are an established winning team with a veteran core that has been in the system for awhile and stability at HC and in the FO and owner's box. Not saying we shouldn't be jealous of that, but lets be realistic: few NFL teams would want the headache of Haynesworth, and fewer would be able to handle it. The Pats can.
