Burress wants to play for Eagles
Free agent wide receiver Plaxico Burress wrote on his Twitter account that he wants to play for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Asked by a follower how soon after the lockout he would sign with the Eagles, Burress responded, "As soon as they will have me!"
The Eagles are said to be one of the teams interested in Burress, who was one of the NFL's better receivers before spending 20 months in prison on a gun charge. He was released last month.
Two summers ago, the Eagles took a huge chance on quarterback Michael Vick, who spent 19 months in prison for his role in a dogfighting ring. A former top overall pick, Vick re-emerged as one of the best players in the NFL last season, becoming the starting quarterback after an injury to Kevin Kolb and leading the team to the playoffs.

Eagles have maclin, jackson, a good TE, and an awesome RB.. they don't need someone like plax, but he could be a welcome addition for 3rd downs/possesion situations. Imagine if mike vick had someone who could go up high for a catch.. that would be scary.

Imagine if alex smith had plax in the red zone for a run and jump catch..

damn, this dude is still very immature based on the interview last night.
I am not saying he is not a good WR, but I don't think anyone should sign him under the impression that he has learned anything

He'd make all of these teams better, especially Chicago and St. Louis.

Please go to Chicago. He is to talented. Don't want to have to deal with him twice a year.

Looks like he could be going back to NY.

That would be the best scenario for everybody, Plax was the only WR Eli had any fluidity with.
